The Position
This significant and highly rewarding role will see you:
work alongside our client’s design teams to develop sustainable, low carbon and regenerative architectural and design strategies
lead and coordinate project analysis and benchmarking
support the use of environmental analysis (including energy, embodied carbon, daylight and thermal comfort) across the practice
assist with carrying out Post Occupancy Evaluation for projects post-completion
provide sustainability certification advice where applicable
assist with our client’s CPD programme in line with RIBA curriculum
participate in external events and activities with clients and the broader sustainability community
assist in activities to maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification
Requirements
Post graduate degree in environmental design, architectural engineering or equivalent
Architectural training preferred but not essential
Demonstrable experience in applying sustainable design in an architectural or engineering practice
Detailed awareness of UK building regulations Part L
Awareness of sustainability initiatives, including (but not limited to) RIBA 2030 Challenge, LETI and Passivhaus
Approachable attitude with an enthusiasm to connect with internal and external teams
Confident in communicating environmental strategies in a variety of formats
Commitment to continuous development and sharing of knowledge
Excellent organisation, problem solving and time management skills
