Position Overview

As Studio Manager, you'll be the backbone of day-to-day studio operations, managing everything from office administration and facilities to supporting Directors and coordinating with the wider team. This is a hands-on role where you'll ensure smooth communication, maintain administrative systems, and provide flexible support across multiple areas. You'll work within a small, collaborative team of around 10 people where your contribution directly impacts how efficiently the practice operates and how well the team can focus on delivering exceptional architectural projects.


Responsibilities

  • Manage general office administration, including coordinating systems, maintaining supplies and overseeing facilities management

  • Maintain Directors' diaries and provide front-of-house support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

  • Liaise with property managers and external suppliers to maintain studio facilities and resolve operational issues

  • Support HR functions including recruitment assistance, employee induction and onboarding processes

  • Organise social events, team lunches and coordinate company trips to foster team culture

  • Assist with project support tasks and contribute to marketing materials as needed

  • Manage and develop the practice's social media accounts

  • Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance to Directors and the wider team as required


Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Studio Manager or in a similar office administration role

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

  • Proactive and confident approach to problem-solving and taking initiative

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal teams and external contacts

  • Experience with general office management, facilities coordination and HR support

  • Proficiency with standard office software and social media platforms

  • Flexible, adaptable mindset and ability to support diverse needs across the studio

  • Enthusiasm for working within a creative environment and commitment to supporting team culture
