Our client, a forward-thinking architectural practice with over three decades of expertise, is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their London studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team that seamlessly applies circular principles to both retrofit and new-build projects, cementing their reputation for delivering some of the most sustainable and innovative buildings in the UK.
Position Overview
As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and delivery of an 8,000sqm office refurbishment project in Central London. This position offers the chance to showcase your technical skills, creativity, and passion for sustainable design while working alongside a talented and diverse team of professionals.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of a large-scale office refurbishment project in Central London
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Apply sustainable design principles and work towards achieving BREEAM certifications
Develop strong technical design, construction detailing, and coordination skills
Communicate effectively with clients and project team members
Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice
Requirements
RIBA Part 3 qualified with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
Proven experience in delivering large-scale retrofit projects and/or workplace design
Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and experience with BREEAM certifications
Proficiency in ArchiCAD (beneficial)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse project stakeholders
