A well-established and award-winning architecture practice in the heart of London is looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist & Office Assistant to join their creative team.

This is a vital role at the centre of the practice — supporting the Head of Operations and helping ensure the studio runs smoothly day to day. You’ll be the welcoming face for clients and guests, the organiser behind team sessions and studio upkeep, and the go-to person when things get busy. From preparing meeting rooms and managing correspondence to organising CPDs, ordering supplies, and assisting with everything from HR admin to team socials — this is a varied, hands-on role that’s never dull.

Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, what matters most is your attitude. If you're someone who takes pride in being helpful, organised, and calm under pressure — someone who enjoys bringing order and support to a busy, creative environment — this could be the perfect role for you.

The studio truly values consistency, care, and reliability. If you find real satisfaction in doing your job well and being the steady presence that helps a team thrive, this is a rewarding opportunity to join a friendly, growing practice where your contribution really matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Be front of house – welcoming clients, guests, and visitors

  • Manage phones, emails, post, and packages

  • Prepare meeting rooms and refreshments

  • Keep the studio tidy, well-stocked, and running smoothly

  • Coordinate CPD (training) sessions and track attendance

  • Support with HR, recruitment, events, and onboarding

  • Assist with admin tasks, including filing, scanning, and accounts support

  • Provide occasional light PA support (couriers, travel bookings, etc.)

Requirements:

  • A positive, professional attitude and a natural willingness to help

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience in a similar role (of any length) is welcome

  • A friendly, calm presence and clear communication skills

Benefits & Perks:

  • Employee assistance programme

  • Tech and cycle-to-work schemes

  • Health cash plan

  • Life insurance

  • Rental deposit loan

  • £250 personal development fund

  • Studio closure between Christmas and New Year
