SALARY

We’re working with a London architecture studio known for its straightforward, design-led approach and genuine focus on getting things built well. The practice has grown steadily over the past year, taking on a series of larger, technically ambitious schemes, and is now looking for a capable Project Architect to lead the delivery of a landmark residential development on a prominent waterfront site in South West London.
Position Overview
This role offers real responsibility from day one. You’ll lead day-to-day coordination and delivery through RIBA Stages 3–5 on a high-rise, mixed-tenure residential project currently moving from planning into tender. Working closely with an Associate and the wider consultant team, you’ll take ownership of technical delivery, guide a small internal team, and ensure the project runs smoothly through to site.
It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture — clear coordination, detail resolution and problem-solving — while still valuing good design and collaboration.
Responsibilities
Lead a large multi-unit residential project through RIBA Stages 3–5
Oversee a small team of architects and assistants on coordination and delivery
Liaise confidently with consultants, contractors and clients
Ensure design intent and technical quality are maintained through each stage
Support senior staff with programme planning, QA and risk management
Requirements
Strong Revit skills and confident technical delivery experience
Good understanding of high-rise residential design, Building Regs and HRB compliance
Proven experience managing deadlines, consultant coordination and on-site issues
Clear communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ideally 3–5 years post-Part III, though open to more experienced candidates
Company Overview
A medium-sized, design-led London practice with a clear, practical approach to architecture and a real focus on delivering quality buildings. Their work is diverse, from major residential and mixed-use developments to HQs for global brands, innovative commercial spaces and ghost kitchens, with around 15% of projects overseas. The team is close-knit, open and collaborative; there’s no unnecessary hierarchy, and everyone is encouraged to contribute and take ownership. It’s the kind of place where you can work across all stages, have genuine input, and see your projects through to completion.
What's on Offer
Balanced, trust-based culture with flexibility and autonomy
Hybrid working — WFH Wednesdays and Flexi Fridays
Supportive, hands-on team environment with no glass ceiling
Major career growth potential with a clear progression pathway
Exposure to varied, design-conscious projects with technical depth
Pension scheme and paid professional development
Discretionary Christmas bonus
Regular staff socials and an international studio trip!
