An exciting position has arisen for an experienced Principal Designer (Building Regulations) within a leading-edge architectural practice situated in Farringdon. Position Overview

In a newly formed Principal Designer (Building Regulations) position, you will play an essential role in this innovative architectural consultancy. Managing, planning, and coordinating Building Regulations compliance, your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, along with various other design projects.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate and monitor Building Regulations compliance for each project

  • Provide guidance from a design management perspective or plans checking background

  • Collaborate with internal teams and manage communication with external stakeholders

  • Ensure meticulous management and maintenance of accurate digital records


Requirements

  • Proven experience leading or managing design development, ensuring Building Regulations compliance

  • A meticulous approach to managing and maintaining accurate digital records

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Candidates with BIM, technical architectural experience or knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 would be greatly advantageous
