Our client, an international placemaking practice, is seeking a talented Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join their team in East London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer to contribute to innovative projects and grow their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Position Overview
As a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with the architecture and urban design teams to deliver innovative graphic design solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will encompass both print and on-screen applications, including reports, bid submissions, presentations, and display materials. You will play a key role in crafting the visual narrative of projects, using your skills in branding, styling, infographics, diagrams, and illustrations to bring ideas to life.
Responsibilities
Deliver design concepts and graphics, including project branding, styling, infographics, diagrams, and illustrations
Support project teams in creating compelling visual narratives that link place, context, people, and culture
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create engaging social media and website content, including graphics, animations, and short-form videos
Assist with in-house studio and events graphics and provide support for awards submissions
Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
Requirements
Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Experience in design for print, including reports, brochures, and exhibitions
Strong design and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience within the built environment sector or architectural industry
