Our client is a design-led architectural studio based in London. They provide a bespoke design service for private and developer clients, with a reputation for discretion and quality. The practice specialises in the prime residential and hospitality sectors. They have a particular focus on buildings of historic and heritage importance. Their work transforming listed buildings is highly regarded by planning authorities across London and the Home Counties.
Position Overview
In this role, you will be key to the technical delivery of unique architectural projects. You will focus on producing exceptional details for bespoke homes, many of which have a classical or heritage character. Your work will ensure the design vision is translated into robust, buildable information, maintaining the studio's high standards from design development through to construction.
Responsibilities
Produce high-quality technical details for bespoke homes.
Resolve complex junctions and traditional building details.
Work sensitively with historic and listed buildings.
Prepare clear and accurate drawings using AutoCAD or similar.
Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and craftspeople.
Support projects across RIBA Stages 3 to 5.
Attend site visits to monitor construction progress.
Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and specialists.
Requirements
Proven ability in producing high-quality technical details.
Experience with heritage or classical residential projects.
Strong technical knowledge of traditional building materials.
Hands-on experience across RIBA Stages 3 to 5.
Ability to work independently on detail resolution.
Clear communication and coordination skills.
