A leading architecture firm based in the City of London is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their team. With a reputation for excellence, they are known for their innovative approach to design and commitment to sustainability. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial mixed-use project in Moorgate, valued at £35 million.

The Position
As a Senior Architect, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of a prestigious project in Moorgate as described below. With your high level of expertise, you will be responsible for overseeing the project with a high degree of complexity and leading multi-disciplinary design teams. Additionally, you will manage a small team of 4 or 5 individuals. Your excellent design and technical knowledge across all RIBA work stages, particularly stages 5+, will be essential. The role also involves managing clients, contractors, and ensuring the smooth coordination of all project elements.

The Moorgate project is an impressive Grade A office space covering 80,000 square feet in London's financial district. It boasts exceptional features, including expansive outdoor terrace areas on the fifth to eighth floors, and top-notch amenities designed to enhance the occupant experience. Sustainability and energy efficiency are at the heart of the project, prioritising the well-being of its users.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
Extensive experience working with external consultants and contractors.
Previous experience in team management.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams.
Excellent design and technical knowledge across all RIBA work stages.
Capability to handle projects with a high degree of complexity.
Competency in fire and life safety design in line with ARB guidelines.
Competency in sustainable design in accordance with ARB guidelines.
Consistently producing high-quality work with excellent graphic, written and verbal presentation skills.
