Are you a motivated architect with a passion for design? Prepare yourself to take the next step in your career with an innovative company that values creativity, adaptability, and the ethical sourcing of materials.

Company Overview

Our client is a cutting-edge design studio, creating projects of varied scales in some of the most historic and sensitive UK locations. They believe in the transformative power of architecture to improve the city fabric and its community. The studio has always shown a dedication to design through the physical process of making, creating new forms using traditional techniques while remaining open to the usage of experimental materials.

As an Architect, you will play a key role in the design and construction process. You'll be a strong designer engaged in design team interaction and the communication of ideas to a diverse audience. Your role will require flexibility to work across all scales while delivering high-quality spaces. In this design-led role, you will coordinate detailed design elements and take projects through to site. Therefore, experience in the later RIBA stages is key.

To thrive in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Exceptionally strong design and detailing skills

  • Excellent visualisation skills, preferably using Rhino, Enscape or 3ds Max and V-Ray

  • Experience in design team coordination and client liaison

  • Two to three years’ post-Part 3 experience and ARB registration

  • Proficiency in all RIBA work stages and technical expertise in current construction methods

  • Proficiency in MicroStation

  • BIM (Revit) experience would be an advantage

  • UK construction and procurement experience would be a bonus

Alongside the exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team, this role offers a comprehensive benefit package. Benefits include tax-free bonuses, a cycle scheme, hybrid working arrangements and office closure during Christmas. Also on offer are monthly company-paid massages, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, and a generous annual leave scheme. Our client is dedicated to nurturing their team both professionally and personally with regular company socials, internal training and a nursery scheme.
