An established multidisciplinary practice is looking for an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its residential team in London, with particular experience in higher-risk buildings (HRBs), façade works and Gateway 2 applications.

You’ll work on large-scale residential projects for housebuilders and private developers, combining strong technical delivery with a thoughtful, design-led approach.

The Role

• Lead residential projects through design, technical development and delivery on site.

• Prepare and coordinate façade packages, including work associated with fire remediation.

• Prepare and coordinate architectural information for Building Safety Regulator applications, particularly Gateway 2.

• Liaise proactively with clients, contractors and consultants, taking responsibility for project coordination and administration.

• Guide junior colleagues and maintain high standards of technical delivery.

• Support planning applications, including liaison with local planning authorities and consultees.

What we’re looking for

• A proven record of delivering large-scale residential projects across the RIBA stages, including on site.

• HRB experience, particularly in façade works and Gateway 2 applications.

• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, technical standards and applicable residential space standards.

• An understanding of the Building Regulations Principal Designer role.

• Confidence coordinating consultant teams and managing client relationships.

• Revit skills preferred, alongside experience using AutoCAD.
