Position Overview

As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in delivering architectural work across different project types and scales, with a particular focus on technically-focused stages. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping these spaces and ensuring the practice's commitment to creating lasting, impactful architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to architectural work across various project types and scales, focusing on technically-focused stages

  • Collaborate with the team on a large commercial office project in central London

  • Assist in the delivery of a private client's large-scale residential development

  • Apply your technical skills and commercial experience to ensure project success

  • Engage with the studio's anti-specialisation approach, bringing fresh perspectives to design solutions

  • Embrace each project as an investigatory voyage, avoiding the imposition of pre-conceived ideas

Company Overview

Our client is an architectural practice known for its innovative approach to design, viewing each project as a unique investigatory voyage. With a diverse team and a commitment to challenging industry norms, the studio fosters an inclusive and supportive environment for all. The practice actively engages with its surrounding context, treating architecture as public art on an urban scale. Sustainability and social responsibility are at the core of their ethos, as evidenced by their Green Manifesto and support for underrepresented groups in the field.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package in the mid to high range with a discretionary annual bonus

  • Professional membership support for organisations like ARB

  • Regular CPD and training opportunities for employee development

  • Flexible approach to remote work, with one work-from-home day per month for emergencies

  • Growing international presence with offices in the UK, US, and Florida

  • 20 days of holiday, increasing to 23 days after a certain period, plus three additional days over Christmas
