Salary: £32,000-£38,000

A studio of architects, designers and thinkers who look beyond the physical to design truly sustainable buildings, communities and cities, is looking for a studio coordinator / manager to join their team. They offer ‘big practice’ experience within an agile studio setting and work with a diverse range of collaborators and experts from the creative and digital sectors.
They are the brainchild of 3 former partners from Foster and Partners and now number 25 people. In this time they have worked on international projects as well as establishing a growing reputation here in the UK.
The role entails running the administrative functions of the business and supporting the director with business development and practice.
Whilst the role is based in their London studio there is a lot of flexibility and you will be able to WFH when needed.
It does require a highly capable and conscientious individual, who can demonstrate the following:
An organised and professional approach to work
Great interpersonal skills (internally and externally)
Excellent written and spoken English
A good head for numbers
You definitely need to be self-motivated, resourceful and able to take the initiative
Ideally you will have:
Prepared quotations for new business
Some understanding of the world of architecture
Experience in raising invoicing and monitoring payments
Able to process VAT Returns and other tax payments as well as payroll
Confidence in liaising with the accountants and outsources HR services
Coordinating staff appraisals
Managing basic office needs such as; purchasing stationary, software, project documents, etc.
Managing and improving practice systems, including timesheets, templates, work scheduling, checklists and protocols, etc
developing and maintaining practice manuals and guidance documents
assisting our marketing team in coordinating content for website, social media, newsletters, etc.
Helping with business development and marketing / bid proposals
Coordinating day to day office administration and support to staff. Including overseeing
coordinating software updates, upgrades and maintenance, liaising with our IT support team
organising meetings and managing databases
compiling, reviewing and proof-reading documents
