Are you an experienced junior interior designer looking to step up into a mid-weight role or a mid-weight looking for something new? Have you ever thought about being an interior designer within an architectural firm? If so have a look at this....
An award winning architectural practice based close to Oxford Street is looking for a mid-weight interior designer to join the team. You will be working on a mixture of projects including, commercial, high-end residential and hospitality (hotels). This is an incredible opportunity for an interior designer who is keen to push their career into a new direction. You will be the first interior designer employed in-house and as such, you will be critical to setting up the way in which this multi-award winning practice approaches the art of interior design.
During this period this practice has grown from 32 to 40 people and they continue to win more projects, bucking the overall economic trend. As a business they have focused on growing three separate sectors and as such they are well placed to grow even further. They have multiple projects at early design stages including a circa 100,000ft grade A office space which will require major improvements to the ground floor retail spaces, office entrances and public realm. A £75m mixed-use project (entering stage 1) which is a combination of public realm, hotel, commercial, refurb and extension in the heart of London. They have also been appointed on a £20m and £50m project in Kensington and the City, the former of which includes an incredible roof-top terrace bar and lounge area. They have numerous smaller residential projects and I encourage you to have a look at their website, which showcases much of the work they do.
Perhaps most excitingly, you will be part of defining the future of their very own workplace. Since they don’t currently have an interiors team, so this is an opportunity for you to make you mark and have a team built around you.
