Clerkenwell, London, £30k-£35k
An exciting architecture studio located in Clerkenwell are looking for an experienced part II architectural assistant to join their team. Formed in 2019, the two founders, building on their years of experience at highly acclaimed architectural studios, have created a practice that is already making waves in the world of architecture.
You will initially be working on a new, residential-led, mixed-use scheme in West London. You should have at least 1 year post-part II experience. Ideally you will be an individual with an ability to present with clarity and rigour in your drawn and written work. Your portfolio should represent your individual presentation skills. It would be beneficial that you have experience in larger scheme residential projects, but if you are a fast learner with skills in other sectors that you can transfer on residential projects, that would be considered too.
Since the practice is only small in size (8 people) and growing, they desire someone with the self-discipline to work on a variety of projects simultaneously, all the while retaining a grip on detail and effectively managing their time. You should have a working understanding of the UK planning system and have project experience between RIBA Stages 0 and 3. Some RIBA Stage 4+ experience would be a bonus.
They are a growing studio with a range of stimulating work, including new build projects and renovations, extensions and additions to buildings in sensitive contexts, ranging from small scale domestic to larger scale residential and commercial work. However, whatever the project type, the practice always places high quality design at the forefront of their activities.
Large scheme UK social housing experience with local authorities
Excellent knowledge about housing regulations.
Ideally good MicroStation knowledge
Excellent SketchUp skills and superb post editing production
General Information & Perks
