This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BIM Manager to join a leading multi-disciplinary practice comprised of a range of property and construction disciplines including architecture, masterplanning, urban design, project management, engineering, surveying and sustainability. They are the go-to for corporate clients and public bodies across the UK and Europe recognised for their work across all the major sectors including office, residential, health, infrastructure and most notably, education. With projects ranging from minor works to major contracts worth in excess of £200m, they have a sound financial track record with confident investors, able to provide a broad range of services to meet the unique requirements of a hugely diverse client portfolio.
The company are now providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced BIM manager/coordinator to join their team in London and develop and maintain integrated, sustainable, and effective BIM solutions. The role will be a combination of company-wide strategic direction and compliance, business development and project BIM management.
The role will include overseeing and renewing BIM accreditation, keeping up to date with changes to ISO/certification requirements, carrying out audits and reviews, monitoring and managing training needs/content, seeking out new software / technology and evaluating against current ways of working, keeping templates and standards up to date, responding to BIDs and seeking out opportunities with existing and new clients of offer BIM advisory services.
On a more day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing the processes and procedures for information exchange on projects, implementing and advising on project information and asset information plans, assisting in the preparation of project outputs such as data drops, implementing the BIM protocol, establishing and managing common data environment, promoting and facilitating collaborative working, information exchange and project team management.
