Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of the team, you will:
Drive the full design process from concept to completion, ensuring that the studio's high standards are upheld.
Develop creative design concepts, space planning and FF&E designs that resonate with a discerning clientele.
Lead and inspire the design team, including mentoring Middleweight & Junior Designers.
Craft compelling presentations for client engagements, harnessing the support of junior team members.
Ensure quality in project documentation such as schedules and specifications.
Manage day-to-day tasks of your team, maintaining meticulous administrative records.
Provide consistent updates to the directors and manage the seamless delivery of projects.
Attend site visits, and efficiently collaborate with trades, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Strategically manage costings, budgets and the procurement process with a keen financial acumen.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 6 years' experience in a design studio, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
A relevant Interior Design/Interior Architecture qualification.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Estimac and Microsoft Office.
An outstanding portfolio demonstrating experience with luxury spaces.
Onsite experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
A sharp eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the capacity to multi-task efficiently.
Noteworthy leadership skills to guide and cultivate talent within the team.
Excellent communication skills, essential for developing relationships with clients and suppliers.
