Our client, a leading UK architecture practice specialising in high-end residential and biophilic design, is seeking a passionate Senior Architect / Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect to make a meaningful impact on people's wellbeing through innovative design.
Position Overview
As a Senior Architect / Associate, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of 3-5 people and overseeing 10-15 high-end residential projects with construction costs ranging from £500k to £5M. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating spaces that positively influence human behaviour, emotions, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of architects, ensuring project success
Oversee multiple high-end residential projects from concept to completion
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions
Apply biophilic design principles to create spaces that enhance wellbeing
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end residential new build and refurbishment projects
Some knowledge of biophilic design and/or the relationship between architecture and wellbeing
Excellent design and technical skills across all RIBA stages
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
Fluency in spoken and written English
Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Sketchup (advantageous)
