Our client is a well-established architectural practice based in central London, founded over two decades ago and now operating as an Employee-Owned Trust. They're looking for an experienced Project Architect to lead high-quality residential and hospitality projects from concept design through to delivery. Position Overview

As Project Architect, you'll lead projects from initial concept and planning through to tender, construction and final delivery. You'll manage client relationships, coordinate with contractors and external teams, and drive projects with contract values of £2m and above. This role sits at the heart of the practice's design-led approach, where your expertise in construction delivery and design excellence will directly shape the quality of spaces that impact people's lives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through all stages from concept design and planning to tender, construction and completion

  • Manage client relationships and communicate design intent clearly throughout the project lifecycle

  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants and external teams to ensure seamless project delivery

  • Develop detailed design solutions using Revit, ensuring high-quality outputs at every stage

  • Oversee construction administration and site coordination to deliver projects to specification

  • Contribute to the practice's design-led culture through collaborative working and creative problem-solving


Requirements

  • 3+ years post Part 3 experience in architectural practice (ARB registration preferred)

  • Proficiency in Revit and ability to produce high-quality technical documentation

  • Proven experience delivering private residential projects or similar with contract values £2m+

  • Strong construction knowledge with demonstrated delivery experience on complex projects

  • Keen eye for design with ability to balance aesthetic excellence with practical delivery

  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing and team coordination roles
