Position Overview
As Project Architect, you'll lead architectural projects from initial concept through to site completion, managing design quality, timelines and budgets. You'll develop design proposals and technical drawings, collaborate with clients and consultants, and oversee construction documentation. This role sits at the heart of the practice's expansion, offering you the chance to shape significant work while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development activities.
Responsibilities
Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring design excellence and adherence to timelines and budgets
Develop and present design proposals, technical drawings and specifications to clients and consultants
Produce detailed construction documents and provide technical support during the construction phase
Mentor junior architectural staff, supporting their professional development
Contribute to business development activities and the growth of the practice
Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning policies and industry standards
Collaborate with contractors and consultants to deliver successful project outcomes
Requirements
Proven experience in project delivery through all stages.
Strong design and technical skills with proficiency in Revit
Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
Proactive approach with the ability to take responsibility and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
