Position Overview
As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the design and development of the practice's architectural projects. You will collaborate closely with the team to create high-quality design presentations and technical drawings, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications. This position offers the chance to engage with clients, participate in site visits, and contribute to the overall success of the practice's design endeavours.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of architectural projects, spanning both residential and commercial spaces
Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality design presentations and technical drawings
Support project management tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications
Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into design solutions
Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
Requirements
A recognised degree in Architecture or a related field (Part II qualification)
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an architectural or design practice
Proficiency in relevant software, especially AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small office environment
A proactive attitude and flexibility to assist with various tasks across design and development projects
