Position Overview
As an Architectural Assistant, you'll support project teams across RIBA Stages 0 to 2, contributing to the full design process from feasibility through to planning submissions. You'll produce high-quality architectural drawings, 3D models, and compelling visuals that bring designs to life for both clients and local authorities. This role offers the chance to develop your technical skills whilst contributing to meaningful projects, and you'll also play a key part in the studio's planned transition to Revit in 2026.
Responsibilities
Produce high-quality architectural drawings, 3D models, and physical models across all project stages
Assist with feasibility studies, pre-applications, and planning submissions
Create compelling presentation materials and visuals for clients and local authorities
Support visualisation work using industry-standard software and techniques
Contribute to design reviews and wider architectural conversations within the studio
Support the practice's transition to Revit, developing your expertise in this key software
Requirements
Part II qualified architect
Experience working in a small or medium-sized, design-focused architectural studio
Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, craft, and clear design intent
Proficiency in Revit (essential)
Confident in architectural drawing, 3D modelling, and physical model-making
Proficiency in SketchUp, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong graphic sensibility and visual communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
