SALARY

£30k - £34k

Are you a Part 2 Architectural Assistant tired of feeling like a small cog in a massive machine? This isn't another corporate architecture practice – this is a studio where your design ideas genuinely shape spaces people will live, work, and experience.

Highlights

  • Move beyond repetitive technical drawing and actually influence design from concept to completion

  • Work with a team that sees you as a leader and not just a follower

  • Develop real-world skills across design-led residential developments

  • Gain exposure to projects that challenge conventional design thinking

Responsibilities

This isn't about filling templates – you'll be an integral part of delivering design solutions that transform spaces. Working on a range of multi-unit residential developments in London, you'll contribute meaningful design thinking at every stage.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Transform conceptual ideas into detailed, buildable designs

  • Challenge design conventions through collaborative problem-solving

  • Create compelling visual narratives that communicate complex architectural ideas

  • Develop technical skills that go beyond standard architectural training

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has completed Part 2 with 1+ years experience in practice and is hungry to push architectural boundaries

  • Can translate bold ideas into compelling visual storytelling

  • Brings a portfolio that shows both technical skill and well-thought out design philosophy

  • Wants to work in a studio that sees junior architects as future design leaders

  • Has robust Revit skills and has experience navigating UK building regulations

About the Practice

Founded in 2006, this isn't a typical architectural practice. With projects ranging from alpine retreats to urban living spaces, they've built a reputation for design that responds authentically to context and human experience. Their approach isn't about architectural ego, but about creating spaces that genuinely improve how people live and interact.
