Responsibilities
As an integral part of this tight-knit team, you will:
Collaborate with senior designers to navigate all phases of the design lifecycle, from conception to fruition.
Generate groundbreaking concepts, materials, and spatial arrangements that resonate with clients' visions.
Craft and refine detailed presentations – a narrative to each client's unique aspirations.
Compile thorough schedules, specifications, and design intent packages, aligned with the studio's high standards.
Guide and review the work of junior designers, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
Perform site visits and effectively communicate with both artisans and clients to ensure the essence of design is translated seamlessly into reality.
Engage in proactive sourcing and material research to stay at the forefront of design innovation.
Undertake the critical role of managing timelines and project deliverables under the mentorship of senior figures in the studio.
Requirements
A proven track record with 4-5 years in the interior design field, notably within a high-calibre design studio.
A formal qualification in Interior Design/Interior Architecture.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Estimac, and Microsoft Office.
On-site experience and the confidence to liaise with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
An understanding of client relationships, able to grasp, interpret, and actualise their requirements.
Familiarity with a wide range of FF&E suppliers coupled with knowledge of the procurement process.
The ability to work diligently under pressure and expertly juggle multiple tasks.
A scrupulous eye for detail, ensuring flawless execution from concept to completion.
