Position Overview

As an Architect, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of substantial workplace projects, working collaboratively within a supportive team environment. You'll develop design proposals that balance heritage sensitivity with contemporary sustainability principles, working on complex listed building projects requiring careful intervention. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise in heritage architecture whilst contributing to the practice's wider commitment to environmental sustainability and industry knowledge-sharing through talks and events.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design development and project delivery, focusing on extensive workplace projects

  • Develop and present design proposals that consider both heritage conservation and sustainability principles

  • Collaborate with the team on listed building projects involving significant intervention and sensitive adaptation

  • Create excellent interior design solutions integrated with architectural proposals

  • Participate in industry talks and events to share knowledge and contribute to the wider architectural community

  • Support the practice's environmental sustainability and social value initiatives


Requirements

  • ARB or RIBA registered Architect (or equivalent qualification)

  • Proven experience working on listed buildings and heritage projects, preferably in London zones 1-2

  • Proficiency in relevant architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong design and technical skills with understanding of sustainable and regenerative design principles

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to professional development
