Position Overview

As an Experienced Architect, you will play a key role in preparing and developing drawings, models, images and other documents related to design and technical documentation across all RIBA stages. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, bespoke projects for the practice's esteemed clients.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop drawings, models, images and other documents relating to design and technical documentation, covering all RIBA stages

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of high-specification residential and bespoke projects

  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project outcomes

  • Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders as required

  • Assist in the mentoring and development of junior team members


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years' post Part 3 practice experience working at all RIBA stages (especially stages 2, 3 & 4)

  • Strong design ability, including experience in detail/technical design and delivery

  • Excellent graphic skills and 3D design ability, proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp (or similar) with appropriate rendering competencies

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit knowledge is advantageous

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Confident, approachable and a strong team player

  • Comfortable and confident in both client-facing and contractor-facing roles

  • Likely to have worked in a small to medium-sized practice specialising in residential or other high-specification bespoke projects (e.g., hotel/heritage)
