Position Overview
As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing architectural projects from concept to completion. You will be responsible for developing and presenting design proposals, technical drawings, and specifications for a variety of projects, including listed and heritage buildings in central London. Collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, you will ensure effective communication and successful project delivery while contributing to the studio's commitment to sustainability and regenerative design principles.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence and adherence to complex fit-out and cut and carve projects
Develop and present design proposals, technical drawings, and specifications for diverse projects, including listed and heritage buildings
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery
Contribute to the studio's commitment to sustainability by integrating environmentally conscious design principles and materials
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the studio's knowledge sharing initiatives through industry events and talks
Requirements
ARB/RIBA Architect with demonstrable experience
Proven experience in delivering projects involving listed buildings and heritage sites, particularly in central London
Strong design and technical skills, with experience in cut and carve interventions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to industry events and share knowledge
Commitment to sustainability and regenerative design principles
