The Position

As Associate Director, you will be responsible for building the architecture vision of the practice. Additionally, you will bring in new architectural new business, lead and mentor the architecture team, ensure the practice performs as chartered architects to excellent professional and creative standards, drive the practices technical and sustainability capability and ensure the practice's reputation as chartered architects isprotected, grows and thrives. You must have a presentational style that wins jobs, as this is an essential part of the role.


Requirements

  • Design sensibility with excellent creative skills, technical competence and ability to have an overview and understanding of the big picture

  • Exemplary ability to mentor and manage teams and resources • Strong client-facing skills

  • Entrepreneurial and business-minded

  • Appetite for new business – a track record an advantage

  • A bold and considered presentational style that wins jobs • Energetic, proactive and positive attitude

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

  • Enthusiastic with a proven track-record of taking initiative

  • Flexible to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate issues that arise

  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant software; Revit, Microstation, Adobe Creative

  • Suite and Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
