Position Overview

This is a key role helping to unlock and shape the practice's design process. You will work closely with directors on multi-unit residential projects, developing and detailing façade designs that balance strong creative intent with practical buildability. Your work will be central to ensuring façade solutions integrate seamlessly into overall project designs, from concept through to delivery, with significant scope for growth and progression within the studio.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and detail architectural façade designs for multi-unit residential projects in 2D and 3D formats

  • Collaborate with directors on the front-end design phase to establish and maintain strong design intent

  • Produce elegant façade designs supported by compliant technical details that balance creativity with buildability

  • Integrate façade solutions seamlessly into wider design team projects and overall project designs

  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications and documentation related to façade systems and construction

  • Research and evaluate façade materials, systems and technologies to meet project and regulatory requirements

  • Contribute to resolving technical and design challenges related to façade design and construction

  • Support the practice in developing and refining their façade design processes


Requirements

  • Proven experience in architectural façade design

  • Strong understanding of façade systems, materials and construction techniques

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to produce high-quality 2D and 3D façade designs

  • Competency in producing technical drawings and specifications

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with directors and wider design teams
